I first recorded Mediterranean Gecko (a widespread introduction in bigger cities in Texas) in Kerr County about 6 or 7 years ago. By its relatively scattered distribution here i'm guessing it's a fairly recent immigrant. In my 18 years here at Rio Vista however i've only seen two . . . until this summer when suddenly they seem to be everywhere. I bring this up because i've seen four tonight, including one inside the office.
